About the workshop

We invite you to experience a sacred encounter with the heart through the ancestral beverage of cacao — a tradition from the precious lands safeguarded by the Indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica. The intention of this circle is to remember our living wisdom and transform our paths. This gathering is for you if you seek: • Healing and releasing emotional burdens • Connecting with yourself and listening to your heart • Embracing your essence through conscious, meditative movement • Giving yourself a moment of pause and presence • Planting new intentions • Sharing in community with love In this gathering, we will share: • A cacao ritual • Teachings from the ancestral Maya Yokot’an tradition • Council circle sharing It will be an intimate, loving, and profoundly sacred space, guided by Marcela — a bearer of an ancestral, living cacao tradition shared with respect, prayer, and love. She has been instructed to offer the sacred cacao medicine by Ax’ Mein Efren Hernandez Maldonado, 11th-generation cacao guardian of the Maya Yokot’an tradition of Mexico. This is a new monthly offering—there’s no need to attend every circle, but you may find yourself wanting to make it a regular ritual.
