About the workshop
Spend the morning at The Yoga Garden delving into the foundational principles of yoga philosophy, exploring the 8 limbs of practice as outlined by Patanjali in the yoga sutras. Cultivating a holistic practice that extends beyond the mat and integrates mindfulness into daily life through ethical conduct, self-discipline and focused meditation practice. This class is available to individuals seeking a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy beyond just the physical postures. Yogis who are looking to refine their practice by integrating ethical principles and meditation techniques. Anyone interested in personal development and mindfulness practices. Yama - Ethical Restraints Niyama - Personal Observances Asana - Physical Postures Pranayama - Breath Control Pratyahara - Sense Withdrawal Dharana - Concentration Dhyana - Meditation Samadi - Absorption There will be a physical element to this class using the postures from Hatha, Yin and Restorative practices, suitable for all levels. We will break for tea and snacks, ending the workshop with breathwork and meditation. Please bring a blanket, journal and mug £45
