About the workshop

Tuesdays 25th November, 2nd, 9th and 16th December 11.30am - 12.30 pm Join us for a series of heartfelt weekly yoga classes by the warmth of the fire, as we come together to raise funds for a family in Gaza. Over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas, each gentle class will offer something unique and accessible to all, led by some of our wonderful Yoga Garden teachers—Penny, Tony, Rebecca, Chessy, Louise, and Romina—alongside Reiki therapist Deena, who is half Palestinian and half English, and also in direct communication with the family we are supporting in Gaza. Each session will include a nurturing yoga practice, sage tea, poetry, and the opportunity to purchase and sample homemade crafts, made by some of our students & local artists... perfect for sharing with your loved ones this Christmas. All donations will go directly to a family in Gaza whom we have been supporting. They have lost their home and parents, and are struggling to survive. For two years, they have been living in a tent, and that has recently flooded. With winter fast approaching, we hope to continue expanding their network of support - to us they have become part of our extended Yoga Garden Family and it has become impossible to look away - this is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of 7 orphaned children, knowing that the money is going directly to help keep them alive and hopeful about their future. Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays until 16th December, and everyone is welcome. No payment is taken at booking, but we kindly ask participants to bring cash (suggested minimum donation of £10.00) or if you can't make the class you can still help support by donating via our Chuffed.org Project: https://chuffed.org/project/157575-winter-is-approaching (copy and paste the link into your web browser) .
