ABOUT ANNA
Anna is a Women’s Wellness Yoga Therapist, Circle Facilitator and Founder of Shala Women – where she holds regular women’s circles and retreats. She has been holding circles for over 20 years in a wide variety of spaces – from yoga retreats to inner city charities, wellness companies to circles in nature.
The camaraderie, growth and sense of support that are the medicine of circle, are what draw her to experience circle herself and share it with others, at a time where the world needs circle more than ever.
A life long fascination with practices, ceremony and ritual, means this course weaves together a rich tapestry of influences.
Alongside 900+ hours of CPD as a yoga teacher/breathwork (trauma release) coach/cacaoista and rite of passage ceremonialist (closing the bones/hypnobirthing) & menstrual cycle specialist, she also spent 10 years as a drama facilitator. So the course weaves in advanced facilitation and space holding skills. Teachers include Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Anoushka Florence & Swami Saradananda.
Anna is an experienced retreat teacher and the skills offered on this course, will deeply support those who would like to expand in this area.
This training is about sharing an extensive toolkit with you, so that you can discern the elements which align most with your experience and intentions for your circles.

SOME OF OUR TESTIMONIALS...
‘This was by far the best training I have attended.. Enriching...nourishing…inspiring and empowering… Anna brought 20 years experience, research and practice into a very thorough training. Every detail of it was carefully planned to empower circle holders to take their work into their communities. Anna’s kind, nourishing and encouraging manner is the loveliest way to learn.’
Marina
‘This training exceeded all of my expectations. I came hoping to develop my skills in group facilitation to complement the group coaching work I already do, but I received so much more. The experience offered a profound sense of connection, sisterhood, lineage healing, and a deeper relationship with the land and the women around me. It was deeply transformative on both a personal and professional level. Anna is a highly skilled facilitator whose calm, warm, and grounded presence creates an atmosphere of trust and safety. She beautifully models the principles she teaches and held a supportive, nurturing space that allowed everyone in the group to grow, connect, and flourish.'
Kate Baily (Midlife and Sobriety Coach)
‘Being part of this course has been a truly empowering and uplifting experience. It provided a safe and supportive space where I felt heard, seen and accepted without judgement. The connection I made with the other women were meaningful and inspiring, and each gathering I left deeply grateful for the wisdom and encouragement and sense of community that this circle has brought into my life.
I would hugely recommend it to any woman seeking connection and support. Thank you ’
