Letting Go this Autumn / Metal Season
Saturday 17th October | 10.30am - 1.30pm | With Louise Windsor
About the event
In Autumn time Nature is releasing her fruits, leaves are falling and decomposing into the Earth. Just as in nature this is a time for us to also consider what needs to be released and what we have learned as we draw towards the end of the year. For this we need time to reflect, time to observe how we are doing, how the year has gone and cultivate discernment of what to keep and what to let go. It’s time to face our shadows and accept that sometimes life isn’t all goodness and light! Within the Earth grow crystals, minerals and Metal. Sometimes the Metal element can be depicted as a sword of discernment, cutting through what is not needed, revealing what is essential and sharpening perception of truth. Similarly, to find the precious stones and metals it is needed to clear away the soil and rock that isn’t needed. There will be; Qi Gong outside (weather permitting) Slow Yin & Somatic based Yoga Gentle breathing practices Journaling A deeply restful sound bath Option to stay on after for a swim/ sauna. The sauna will need to be booked directly with Kindred Sauna | Wild Sauna at the Knepp Estate, West Sussex Louise Windsor, is a seasoned instructor teaching in Brighton since 2012, known for her expertise in Yin Yoga courses and workshops.
