Modern life constantly pulls us outward into noise, urgency, and mental overload. When the senses are overstimulated, rest becomes shallow and the nervous system never truly settles. Rest in the Senses is an invitation to slow everything down. Set within the rewilded landscape of the Knepp Estate, this retreat day offers space to return to your body, your breath, and the quiet intelligence of deep presence. Through gentle yoga, mindful walking and deep rest, you’ll learn how to soften the pull of the outer world and rediscover a profound inner stillness. I’d love you to join me for a deeply nourishing retreat day at The Yoga Garden, nestled within the rewilded landscape of the Knepp Estate. A space designed for slowing down, listening inward and restoring your natural rhythm. This retreat gently brings awareness back to the senses, not to stimulate them further, but to rest within them. Through focused attention on each sense, we soften the habitual pull outward and return to our centre. From here, a deep stillness and quiet presence can emerge. A steady confidence. A knowing. With yoga practices that support your innate capacity to expand awareness and deepen sensory connection, creating a more vivid, grounded experience of yourself. We’ll explore what it means to truly rest in sensation, in its fullness and wholeness. This day is an invitation to step out of busyness and bathe in simplicity, ease, and embodied bliss — while learning practical ways to reconnect consciously whenever life feels overwhelming.
